Incidents
An incident represents a continuous down period for one monitor.
- It opens the moment a monitor is confirmed down (after retries) and records the cause (e.g. “HTTP 500”, “Timed out after 10s”, “No ping received for 6 minutes”).
- It resolves automatically when the monitor recovers, stamping the total duration.
- Every incident is visible on the monitor’s detail page and in the global
Incidents log (
/incidents), newest first, across all monitors. - Ongoing incidents are shown with a live duration; resolved ones show how long the outage lasted.
If the monitor has AI triage enabled, the incident also carries a Likely cause — see AI outage triage.
